Therapies and holistic treatments are available by prior arrangement. The Barnhouse is tucked away, standing within the owner’s grounds neighbouring to their home, yet commanding its own privacy. The village of Felmingham offers a village shop and recreational playing field with swings and a slide. Excellent pubs can be found nearby. The popular market towns of North Walsham, 2 miles, and Aylsham, 4 miles, offer shops, supermarkets, a train station, cafés and pubs. Mundesley, 7 miles, has a wide sandy beach. There are excellent walking and cycle routes available from the doorstep, whilst a footpath beside the church leads to Bryant’s Heath, a popular local beauty spot and a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Wroxham, capital of the Broads, is 13 miles, with its daily boat hire, river trips and riverside shops and cafés, or visit the Georgian market town of Holt, 20 miles. The seaside towns of Cromer, 10 miles, and Sheringham, 14 miles, have excellent beaches, shops, cafés and pubs. Cromer has a pier, promenade and working RNLI life boat station and musuem, whilst Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, which visits neighbouring and coastal villages. Blakeney is 23 miles away and Holkham Hall and beach are 24 miles. Other places of interest include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and the Royal Sandringham Estate. Beach 7 miles. Shop 800 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
