The Chapel description

The Chapel at Weston Farm is a unique detached two bedroom stone house. Formerly the chapel for the entire Weston Farm, this characterful building dates back several centuries. The house is set on a working dairy farm amidst the rolling hills and stunning rural valleys of Somerset.

Once inside this eclectic property you will be welcomed by the effortless flow between the period characteristics and modern amenities. The beautiful slate floor is warmed by underfloor heating, and the rustic exposed walls, an original bread oven, wood burner and wooden beams all mix timelessly with the clean lines of contemporary design and use of space.

The Chapel has a large private garden. Just off the kitchen and main entrance of the house, there is a double sided patio which is partially covered by a veranda perfect for you to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink in this most serene and tranquil setting.

The property is only five minutes from the market town centre of Chard, the birthplace of powered flight. There you will find shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Set in South Somerset, Chard is near to both the Devon and Dorset borders .

Open plan with the lounge the dining area has access to the garden. A classic wooden dining table with six matching chairs.

Living Room/Area

Situated on the ground floor, open plan with dining room. A grey fabric sofa and log burning stove makes this space warm and cosy. Two fabric armchairs. For your entertainment there is a Flatscreen TV with Blu-ray player.

Master Bedroom

Located on the mezzanine first floor, this airy and open plan bedroom comes with a king size bed. Dressing table with mirror, two bedside tables each with a lamp, a chest with drawers and a plush sofa to relax on.

Bedroom 2

Nestled on the ground floor off the kitchen, this double bedroom serves with double bed. Two bedside tables each with a lamp, full length mirror and free standing wardrobe.

Family Bathroom

The family bathroom is found on the ground floor and comprises of a wet room style shower. Fully tiled in designer style with heated towel rail, shaver point, mirror, cabinet, hairdryer (may be located in the bedrooms) window and extractor fan. Underfloor heating.

Garden Description

Wrap around patio space, partially covered by a veranda with table and chairs. Large private garden. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside. A charcoal barbeque is available but you will need to bring your own charcoal
