Although the cottage was only a 10 minute walk from the town centre, the only sounds we heard were the birds! Would happily stay there again.

Although the cottage was only ten minutes from the town centre the only sounds we heard were the birds-and the rain! I would happily stay there again.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners, nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and their knowledge of the surrounding areas was a definite advantage to us. The apartment is within easy walking distance to the town centre and all the sights within Buxton. Bakewell, Ashbourne and Ashford in the Water are places not to be missed. A thoroughly enjoyable week's stay.

Buxtom was a great place from which to explore the Peak District and all it has to offer, including Chatsworth House and some great walks, and the Como Apartment worked really well as a base. The owners, who live next door, were very friendly and welcoming.

The on-site landlords of this property are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The apartment is brilliant for two people and comfortable as well as being nicely presented. The property is five minutes walk from the town centre and the railway station as well as the bus stops, and ten minutes walk from aldi. Highly recommended.
