The Cottage description

Holiday home
The Cottage is a wonderful ground floor bungalow, set in the grounds of a small bed and breakfast, on the edge of the village of Tal-Y-Bont, near Betws-y-Coed, in the Conwy valley and can sleep four people. The cottage has a king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), a twin bedroom, a bathroom, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a gas stove. Outside there is ample off road parking, a private patio with furniture and use of four acres of the bed and breakfasts' gardens and a shared drying room for clothes within the complex (for hotel and cottage guests). The Cottage is a wonderful base for your holiday discovering this part of North Wales.

Betws-Y-Coed is surrounded by picturesque woodland and imposing mountains and is part of the Snowdonia National Park Visitors Centre. The National Park is made up of just under 850 square miles of unspoilt scenery that plays host to an abundance of wildlife and a number of rare plants; a tranquil setting for walkers and nature-enthusiasts. The nearby River Conwy is well known for the quality of its fishing and also hides river pools, frothing waterfalls and bridges that are many hundreds of years old. Betws-Y-Coed itself has a variety of restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Cottage was in a quiet position well off the road with good easy access and parking away from the nearby hotel. It was comfortable and well equipped. A great base for visiting North Wales coast and Snowdonia.

Good location for where we wanted to visit in North Wales. Liked the combination of self-catering but with hotel facilities available to us next door. Very friendly and accommodating staff at the hotel, nothing too much trouble, even going as far as allowing our tickets for Electric mountain to be printed on their printer!

Nice, quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of London. Ideally located for a number of attractions e.g. Mount Snowdon, The Orme, Llandudno, Conwy Castle, seaside, walking trails. Definitely recommend it.

I liked everything about our holiday. The Cottage was absolutely spotless. It had everything you could possibly need and was very comfortable too. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and look forward to staying there again. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Cannot fault them or their accommodation at all.

The central location of the cottage was very convenient for most of the North Wales attractions. Parking was extremely easy - right out side the door in fact. In all highly recommended.

The central location of the cottage was very convenient for most of the North Wales attractions. Parking was extremely easy - right out side the door in fact - very useful for me as I am disabled. Very comfortable with all the required amenities and the helpful attitude of the owner was much appreciated. In the words of the movie star - we will return.

The bungalow was situated in a picturesque village and ideally placed for exploring the Conwy Valley and North Wales. It had all the amenities we required and being in the grounds of a small hotel was ideal for eating locally or calling in for a drink. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and really helpful in providing information about places to visit. he area was calm and tranquil and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would go back again and would recommend it.

We returned to the cottage for a second time because it is so suited to our needs. It is particularly well sited, central for all of North Wales, and cosy and comfortable.
