The Cottage was fantastic, even better than expected. It is just down the road from a quaint little Welsh village where we hung out with the locals and had a blast drinking Guinness. All in all - fantastic!

The Cottage, Coed Y Celyn was lovely. It was very nicely decorated and had everything you could possibly need. The owner was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. It's in a great location, near to Betws-y-coed and a short walk to Fairy Glen, with views of the river from the cottage. The log burner made the stay even better. We would stay there again.

An absolutely delightful property. The cottage was spotless and no detail was overlooked. Spent a fantastic week walking, and coming home to the cottage was a bonus. Everything is exactly as described and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to friends or family.

The cottage was well equipped with every item you could think of. It was spacious and had lots of character. The cottage was within walking distance of Betsw-y-Coed and easy driving distance to Snowdon and other popular areas to visit. There were lots of beautiful walks and we had a wonderful stay with plenty to do. There was lots of info in the cottage to help us plan our week. We would highly recommend a stay in this cottage.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. It was a perfect place to stay and having an enclosed garden for your dog was the icing on the cake. A home from home and we hope to return again very soon.

An absolutely superb cottage; well appointed, well maintained, beautifully decorated and perfectly placed for exploring the area. The owners clearly take pride in this home and understand that holiday accommodation can really make a holiday. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and will make it my first choice property if we holiday in the area again! The area is stunning with a good mix of indoor and outdoor activities.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming cottage Coed y Celyn. It was very comfortable, in fact the photos did not do the cottage enough justice. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The log fire was made up for us which was most welcome and we had a lovely generous welcome pack. The cottage is well equipped and close enough to Betws-y-Coed to pop in by car for dinner.

This was probably one of the best presented cottages that we have stayed in in the UK or in Europe. The cleanliness was particularly noteworthy especially in the kitchen. Thank you.

This cottage was immaculate, decorated to a high standard and every detail was perfect. It's position was good for exploring the area and for great walks nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with coffee maker, bread maker and a BBQ in the shed outside available. The cottage was so warm and cosy we only used the wood burner once. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return!

We arrived at the cottage to discover that it was filthy. The carpets were dirty and in poor condition. The sofas were dirty, there were remnants of food under the cushions. There were no mattress protectors and the mattress on the double bed was stained. The cooker/microwave were filthy. There was lots of dust. There was a mouse trap behind the washing machine. Also, a rat trap in a bathroom cupboard that led to the roof space. There was mould in the bathroom and a hole in the floor had just been stuffed with a rag! The tea towel had stains on it. The cleaning sponges left for our use were old ones, which had clearly been used many times before. The road outside is very busy, it is a main route for some very large vehicles. You could not walk into the village from the cottage, the road is too busy. The reviews we read before we booked were so misleading. It was so dirty that we could not stay here. We had booked through Sykes Cottages, so I contacted them. As there was no way the issues could be put right in a short timescale, they agreed to refund our monies. Unfortunately, as it was peak season, we could not find alternative accommodation in the area at such short notice. We had no option but to return home. This was obviously very disappointing as we had booked leave from work, which could not be changed at such a late stage. Sykes did provide some compensation for the inconvenience. However, the planned break in Wales was what we needed.

The Cottage was in a good location with ample parking and privacy. We had fantastic weather and dog walking.
