Situated in the village of Aldbrough St John, The Granary is the perfect holiday location for guests wishing to really explore the magnificent scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. It has been lovingly renovated to offer space, practicality and modern conveniences for guests to enjoy. Close to the village pub, it is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, families and couples who want to relax and sample the local custom. The Georgian market town of Richmond is only a few miles away, and offers many top class restaurants, pubs and tea shops, perfect for a spot of lunch, afternoon tea or a lazy supper. This beautiful and historic town is settled high above the River Swale and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, and the chance to browse the weekly market and monthly farmers’ market with local produce and crafts. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities can be enjoyed. There are many attractions nearby including Raby Castle, Bowes Museum, the popular city of York, and Hamsterley Forest with its mountain biking trails. On the ground floor there is a good sized kitchen with views looking out on to the nearby fields. The living room and dining room are well decorated and comfortably furnished throughout. With a peaceful garden and sitting area, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of this super little village. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet. Oil central heating (£30 per week, £25 per short break Nov-Mar), gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for open fire included. Large, enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.
