Situated on the owners’ working farm, on the edge of the Piddle Valley, just north of the county town of Dorchester, this spacious, well-equipped holiday barn conversion with a large garden, is an excellent location to enjoy Dorset and all it has to offer. There is excellent walking from the doorstep, village pubs to wine and dine in at Piddlehinton and Piddletrenthide, and many family attractions within easy driving. Weymouth with its award winning sandy beach, Sealife Aquarium, perhaps a day trip to France or the Channel Islands, and water activities are a must, or the children will love Monkey World and the Bovington Tank Museum. Perhaps explore along the famous Chesil Beach taking in the swans at Abbotsbury Swannery, or calling in along the famous scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast at places such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Portland, West Bay and on to the pretty character seaside resort of Lyme Regis. Nearer home, visit Dorchester, with its character shops, history and places of interest such as Tutankhamun Museum, Teddy Bear Museum and Terracotta Warriors Museum all to be enjoyed. With a football table, table tennis and plenty to see and do there is certainly plenty for families to have a memorable holiday. Beach 10 miles.
