The cottage location was ideal to explore Exmoor and the coast. We all really enjoyed using the games room, brilliant for family tournaments on rainy days. There was also plenty of space for our dog outside.

The cottage had wonderful views and though it was quite remote it was in a sheltered spot. The downstairs was open plan and very spacious. There was a lovely games room which gave the children/youth somewhere to let off steam when it was wet. We had a dog visit us for one night and it was possible for him to run off lead in the garden which made life much easier. Though this is a collection of cottages we felt secluded and had privacy.

As it was a Christmas get together with friends the cottage was beautifully decorated. The accommodation was spacious and cosy all at the same time. The furnishings were comfortable and everywhere was clean. The views were stunning and we would definitely go back, the owners were friendly and helpful.

Definitely going back. Friendly people, warm welcome with extras; cake, tea, coffee and milk waiting. Surprised at bedding and towels included too. A relaxing break and safe for kids a good touring point.

Our holiday cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. The owners couldn't be more welcoming and were always giving us ideas of places to visit. Would definitely recommend to friends!

The cottage is in the countryside, away from any hustle and bustle and traffic, but well located for exploring North Devon. The owners are very friendly and the cottage had everything we needed (baby gate, high chair, wifi for the grandparents and plenty of kitchen equipment). The welcome basket full of essentials was a nice touch, as was the children's play area. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was situated within an excellent location; in quiet countryside and surrounded by wildlife. The lovely owners were on hand for any queries and easy to get on with. We would have no hesitation recommending this property to family and friends.

Me, my hubby, our toddler and the grandparents and their dog spent a week at this lovely rental. The rental is a very old cottage in the middle of narrow devon lanes, far away from anything, so it was heaven to have peace and quiet, all we could hear was the birds and sheep. The cottage is well laid out, with a good sized kitchen full of allsorts of cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils, with a table next to it, and a big sitting room. We were given some cakes and a few essentials i.e. tea and coffee when we arrive which was a nice touch. The owners and the gentleman who helps out, were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy and clean. Just a note to dog owners, make sure you take a dog bed, as dogs are not allowed upstairs, i.e. not in bed with you, which was fine with us as it made a dog free space! I would definately stay here again. There was a play area for the kids which had a trampoline and slides and swings which was a bonus. For those that use Wifi on holiday, then this is a little slow, but that it what you get in the countryside, and who goes on holiday to spend time on the computer!!!
