The owner was lovely and very good with our big dog. The place was perfect and we'll definitely come back. Loved the big garden and field for the dog to run about in. The bed was so comfortable too! It's a bit cosy but they've made an excellent use of the space available so it doesn't feel cramped at all, even the shower with the slanted roof. Excellent location for nearby attractions too.

The Hayloft was well positioned to access the many beautiful villages and towns nearby. The rural location is ideal for dog walking and sightseeing. The Hayloft was a small cosy retreat, perfect for short breaks.

Very quiet but close to several interesting places. Brilliant safe garden and field for dogs with lots of fantastic walks and village pubs. Had a great holiday.

The settings. The scenery around the Hay Loft was amazing. The location was also another advantage. You were close to villages such as Bakewell, Buxton, Tideswell but also cities such as Derby and Manchester.

The Hayloft is perfectly situated within easy driving distance to Castleton where you can find some amazing walks and caverns. It's also quite close to Bakewell, Buxton, Edale and Chatsworth. Tideswell is the nearest village where you can pick up essentials and is a very nice village. The Hayloft itself was cosy and very comfortable. The owners are around if you need anything and are really nice and helpful. Fantastic holiday. Thank you The only improvement I would make to the Hayloft would be to put a little radio in there as you don't always want the tv on first thing in the morning

Nice central location for touring the Peak District. The cottage was compact, but cosy and comfortable. Nice fish and chips at Tideswell, and a great meal at The George Hotel, also in Tideswell.

The accommodation was charming, quite small but this was expected and was not a problem for the two of us. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome!

Hayloft is in great location and is very cosy with all facilities for two people. Lots of nice pubs to eat in nearby and very easy to reach all the sites and beautiful scenery in Peak District and parts of Yorkshire.

The property consists of a double bedroom, living room and kitchenette combined and a WC, shower room. Property was clean, tidy and well appointed. The owners were helpful. On the downside, this is a hay loft and there was restricted headroom in the bedroom and shower room. The headroom in the shower was particularly tight and it was not possible to stand under the shower head even when raised to the maximum height. Also, there was constant traffic noise from the busy A623 and the lack of sound insulation with the property below meant that the muffled conversations of the occupiers could easily be heard. The nearest pub was, as stated, a 10 minute walk but this was along the busy A623 with no pavement or street lighting.

Great area to visit and Hayloft is very cosy and suited our needs. It is in a very lovely area with good access to everywhere we wanted to visit.
