We loved everything about this holiday. The Hayloft was superb for our family, including the dog. The owners were extremely helpful, and the surrounding countryside was absolutely gorgeous. Our favourite parts of the holiday were sitting by the log burner in the evening and playing board games, the wonderful tennis courts and the glorious walks.

The Hayloft is a beautifully converted barn in a lovely village setting. Large gardens, including a walled garden and tennis courts for guest use. The living space is very roomy and the additional use of the annexe bedroom was great for our larger party. Couldn't fault it, lovely!

The Hayloft is in a beautiful location and is a stunning conversion attached to a Grade II listed manor house. The facilities were second to none and the owners made us all so welcome. We'd highly recommend and will definitely go back should the occasion arise.

We loved the spacious and well equipped accommodation. The Hayloft manages to be roomy enough for big groups yet cosy at the same time.

Our host was very friendly and helpful on our arrival. The weather wasn't good but the log burner was the Rolls Royce model of burners and easy to keep going during our stay. The accommodation was spacious and we all agreed the photos didn't do it justice, it had such a homely feeling. The scenery and the surrounding area was beautiful. The village was very quiet and relaxing.

The property is in a stunning location, a great meeting point for families getting together, which is what we did. The Hayloft is comfortable, very pretty, and lovely and warm with it's log burner - it was the heart of the place. It's easy to just stay in such a lovely place with stunning scenery, great walks, the beautiful walled garden and of course the tennis court, such fun! Would love to visit again one day.

The Hayloft is a lovely annex to Cumrew House. Warm welcome from owners - literally as the log burner was lit for our arrival. Really comfortable stay in well equipped accommodation, with friendly hosts. LED lighting upgrade during our stay.

This is an amazing holiday rental, we stayed for a weekend celebrating my brothers special birthday, they stayed on for a week. The quality is amazing , from the bedding to cutlery and has everything and more that you will need.We were so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. The Hayloft is in such a pretty area and very close to lots of attractions. Thank you Kit and Andrew, we can't wait to come back. Reviewed by Fiona and Jim Jackson

Gorgeously warm accommodation with lots of practical comforts, Glorious countryside. The Hayloft has spacious accommodation with a superb entrance are with loads of room for boots and coats and a sink for dirty kit not having to be taken into the living accommodation. It's well designed for comfortable days.

We visited as an extended family of grandparents, parents, other adults, a baby and a dog and were swiftly followed by the autumn storms Abigail and, in rapid succession, Barney who brought days and days of rain and high winds. Trips out were few and far between and inevitably ended with cold and damp returns to The Hayloft. The tiled and heated ground floor entrance is a great asset and accommodated our boots, wellies, waterproofs, brollies, pram and doggy 'stuff' with ease. Upstairs the huge living / dining / kitchen area is comfy and very well equipped which meant we were not at all cramped during the times when we all stayed in together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are equally warm and spacious, having big comfy beds and plenty of hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather and hope to return to explore the area further. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and the grounds of their adjacent house definitely enhanced the lovely views from every window.
