The Maples is a fantastic lodge, in beautiful quiet surroundings. Everything was so clean, warm and comfortable. Excellent beds, nice linen, fantastic hot and powerful shower. Well equipped. Everything you could possibly need for a lovely , relaxing holiday. Friendly, helpful caretakers. Hot tub was fantastic and much appreciated at the end of the day after a lot of walking.

The lodge exceeded expectations set by pictures and description and had everything plus more to meet our requirements.

We walked in and the place sparkled! Everything was luxurious and came with mod cons and the people that run the place were great. I didn't want to leave feedback as I wanted to keep the place as secret as possible! It's paradise and so difficult to explain, you need to see it to believe the magic that came with the visit. More than 5 stars and will be back!

The log cabin was a wonderful experience and the hot tub was marvellous. A wonderful location for views from the cabin and the bird watching was a real treat. This was a great holiday - and the people who own or run the business were the most helpful that we had ever come across on this type of holiday. The surroundings were stunning.

If you want to escape from it all, and relax in lovely and peaceful surroundings, then this could be the place for you. The lodge itself is excellent with everything you need, plus the addition of the hot tub which is perfect even when the weather is not so great. You even have access to your own private woodland, which for us was a very welcome addition. We will be booking The Maples again, loved it.

The Maples is really set in a tranquil and quiet location on top of the hill. You can enjoy privacy going in and out of the superb hot tub and sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. We loved the electric fire as well. The Maples is very cosy. The kitchen is over equipped with everything you need such as an oven, dishwasher, microwave, stove and abundant dishes, cutlery etcetera. Ideal for making day trips into Pembrokeshire. We loved it!!!!

Every other review gave 5 *'s and I would wholeheartedly agree with all the previous positive comments. I would just however list the following issues which if the Owner addresses, would make this Luxury Lodge just perfect; 1] My wife and myself like our space and we therefore always choose 2 or 3 bedroom Accommodations whenever we go on holiday. But at this Lodge, the Owner only provides Bed Linen and Towels for the number of guests on the booking. If we book and pay for a 2 Bedroom Lodge, we expect the quota of Towels and Bed Linen to match the number of guests that the Lodge can accommodate. 2] The Wi Fi was abominable. It was so bad, that it was not worth using. 3] The Patio Set was a joke for a Luxury Lodge; the diameter of the Table was so small that it could in no way accommodate 4 persons and the lack of cushions meant that sitting on the Hardwood chairs was most uncomfortable. 4] Although the Bedrooms had fittings for the connection of TV's, the Owners had removed the TV's from the Bedrooms of this Luxury Lodge. In spite of the above shortcomings, we would return to this Luxury Lodge, which is set in the most peaceful and beautiful countryside setting imaginable. If I read that the Owner has addressed the issues raised, I would happily add the 5th star.
