This cottage is the best self-catering facility I have stayed in! The owners were most welcoming and helpful, and their cottage and gardens are wonderful. It truly was a home away from home.

The woodland garden provides an impressive backdrop to the house, which is situated in a quiet area on the edge of town. A short stroll around The Oaks Loop offers you an immediate taste of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet you are close enough to all the amenities of the town. All in all, The Oaks is the perfect base for a relaxing week (or two) exploring the best that Wiltshire, Dorset and East Somerset has to offer.

We had a wonderfully relaxing few days in this beautiful cottage surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The vases of sweet peas, chocolates and wine on arrival were very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. We also made good use of the bikes and wish our stay could have been longer. Many thanks for all the lovely touches which made our stay here very enjoyable.

The Oaks is a very nice place to stay. We had a warm welkom from the friendly owners, Tracey andd Barry. In the house we were welcomed by fresh flowers, sweets and a nice bottle of white wine. The house is very complete and it's always nice to have a dishwasher and a washingmachine at your disposal. The owners have a beautiful garden you can enjoy. The Oaks is a good location for making trips, for instance to Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, the Willbury white horse and more. A visit to Stourhead Garden is a must. We had a wonderful week and will be back in the future.

This was our first experience of a holiday cottage in England, and it couldn't have been better. It was like walking into my own home, with all the little extras Tracey provided. Warminster is a lovely little town, with so many options around for day trips and drives. My husband and I are returning to England next year, and will certainly be booking The Oaks cottage for a longer stay next time. It is such a well fitted out cottage, we'll be looking hard to match it!
