A lovely cottage in a wonderfully rural location. In a perfect position to explore the Wye Valley.

The accommodation was superb and certainly has the 'WOW' factor. The Chapel has been sympathetically restored with some quirky and unique additions. We enjoyed quiet evenings with a bottle of wine and the log burner for company.

Everything was absolutely lovely. Also, my German Shepherd absolutely adored the underfloor heating.

The Old Baptist Chapel was extremely comfortable and well thought out. It had a very well equipped kitchen for cooking in the evenings and was a great base for some beautiful walks.

This is a super property, probably one of the best we've stayed in (and we use 3-4 per year) in a great location.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Decorated beautifully, and with lots of fun touches. The building is fantastic, and the owners have thought of every conceivable creature comfort that a person could need. The area is beautiful with lots of walks, although we did not do too many of them because we did not want to leave the Chapel! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed this conversion, had been sympathetically completed, with a sense of fun. We felt the furnishings were of an excellent standard, and appreciated the time and care which had been taken to achieve the overall effect. The area was well worth a visit, fantastic walks and scenery. Would definitely consider staying here again.

A quiet, relaxing location. Set in a lovely village with surrounding countryside. The chapel is a beautiful building that has has been converted very well, and has lots of history. The owners have displayed a picture board showing the stages of the conversion, this was very interesting and added to the experience.

Just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful clean and comfortable cottage. Everything has been thought of. The chapel is tastefully decorated with top of the range interior. There is a lovely wood burner and underfloor heating so would be lovely and warm if having a winter stay. Owners Terry and Ade are very friendly and nothing is too much bother. We took our Springer Spaniel Milly and she settled in well. Loads of walks local and afar. A week is not longer enough to see everything. There is a local pub which in my mind is fine for drinks but didn't rate the overpriced food but staff were very friendly. If you are looking for a comfortable base in a beautiful part of Wales you can't go wrong here. Raglan Castle and Tintern Old Railway Station were out favourites and very dog friendly. We hope to come back next year.
May 2016
Loved staying at this very clean, unique, fantastic cottage. Very comfortable beds, sitting area also very cozy especially with the wood burning stove. The kitchen is supplied with all the tools and appliances you need for modern comfort. We were lucky and had beautiful weather for sitting in the garden. An added bonus was the 1 minute walk to The Penallt Inn Pub.

This house is beautiful. It has been tastefully renovated and is so comfortable, I would happily live there. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovey walks, although bear in mind that there is some hill walking! The Inn, which is literally a minutes walk away is brilliant. All in all a brilliant time was had, so thank you.
October 2013
Lovely refurbishment and dog friendly too - would recommend to anyone ...
November 2013
Stayed here with my husband, 10 year old daughter and our dog and we absolutely loved it. The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous and the owners have thought of everything! The village itself is beautiful but we didn't venture out nearly as much as we should as we didn't want to leave the Chapel! Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone

Excellent accommodation. A brilliant modernisation of a unique old property. Had a fantastic living area, kitchen and bedrooms, in a wonderful building. The surrounding countryside is great, with plenty of opportunity to walk making the countryside accessible and the car (almost) redundant. The combination of the underfloor heating and the wood burner made it very cosy.
