The Potters Barn description

Situated in the charming hamlet of Begelly with its traditional village pub, this semi-detached barn conversion provides the perfect retreat for a family or couples looking to explore the spectacular coastline of beautiful Pembrokeshire. Conveniently located near the popular coastal resort of Saundersfoot, the former potter’s cottage, adjacent to the owner’s home, dates back to the early 19th Century. It has been lovingly converted into a spacious holiday home featuring an open plan living area and well-equipped kitchen boasting an impressive vaulted beamed ceiling and electric wood burner for those cosy nights in! The French doors in the living area open out onto the private decking area which boasts splendid views over Follywood Country Park which is owned by the award-winning leisure attraction, Folly Farm, and is home to sheep, donkeys, llamas and red deer grazing the rolling countryside.

Conveniently located close to Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path with 186 miles of spectacular coastline to explore, the area is home to golden beaches, picturesque fishing harbours and rugged countryside, providing the perfect destination to unwind and relax whatever time of year you choose to visit. The stunning beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot and Broadhaven are just a few worthy of a visit and they are perfect for water based activities such as kayaking, surfing or coasteering. For an interesting day out, take a trip to Tenby and indulge in one of the many cafés, pubs and restaurants which are encased by the town’s historic walls, or wander through the cobbled streets meandering down to the tranquil fishing harbour. The nearby resort of Saundersfoot is home to a beautiful golden beach, picturesque harbour and pubs and restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu! Explore the majestic sites of the county including Carew, Pembroke and Manorbier castles, or head to the thrilling leisure attractions of Folly Farm, Oakwood and Anna’s Welsh Zoo, famous for the habitat of Wales’ first ever rhinoceros.
