The Stables description

Holiday home
The Stables is a semi detached cottage on the edge of the village of Corofin in County Clare. The cottage has one double bedroom (with an ensuite), a family bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, making it suitable for seven people. The rest of the accommodation includes a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room and a summer room. Outside the cottage is plenty of off road parking and a patio area with a picnic table. On the edge of the Burren National Park and set in a courtyard with two other properties, The Stables is part of a group that sleep up to eighteen people.

The village of Corofin offers a good range of shops, pubs and eateries. Famous for its music, with festivals occurring throughout the year, it also provides access to the visitor centre at Dysert O' Dea castle. The surrounding area is great for hill walking and cycling, whilst the seaside resort of Lahinch is worth a visit.

County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.

The cottage was beautiful and ideally located for sightseeing on the Burren while at the same time convenient for accessing main roads and larger towns. The property is pet friendly so the dog can come on holiday too. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.

This centrally located accommodation gave us the opportunity to travel comfortably with 4 teenagers. We were able to take day trips to the attractions County Clare has to offer. The owners Martin and Natasha Waldron were helpful and provided a clean, well equipped home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. The area around Corofin is beautiful, offers lots of good sightseeing attractions and the town itself has all the things you may need, from a supermarket, a local library with internet a heritage center, some shops and a great pub ( Bofey Quin's) with traditional Irish music Wed. and Sat. nights and great food!

Stayed for a weekend, really wish it could have been longer. The house feels like a lovely home, not a holiday rental house. It is comfortable, pretty and in a great location. Lucky, the gorgeous spaniel made our weekend. I will be back.

The Stables is in a beautiful country location and the well-furnished interiors are full of charm.

We loved this cottage. It was beautiful and the hosts spectacular. Every day they offered helpful, reasonable suggestions for things to see and do in a day. We would love to return.

I hate to rate this place as high as I should - i want to be able to afford to come back some day! Our stay was wonderful, the cottage superb, location excellent, proprietors top-notch. Bofey Quinn's restaurant in town was an added pleasure. Should be booked non-stop-it is that lovely!
