The cottage was lovely, with magical gardens attracting loads of wildlife. There were two good pubs within a couple of minutes walk, it was central for all local sites and visits and had sandy beaches in a 5-10 minute drive.

This is the second time we have been to Tre Coed and it is as good as it was the first time. The owner really made us welcome and the cottage was just perfect as it was last year. You can not fault anything about the cottage or the gardens, we have already booked again for 2015 holidays. It is so quiet there you do not want to leave.

After my recent experience it was a pleasure to find a cottage I could not fault in any way and the owner was very friendly and met us on arrival to show us the cottage. We managed to visit all the places on our list and had a very enjoyable week, peace and quiet when we came back after a days touring the surrounding area. This cottage has everything you could want and a beautiful garden if you have a day in.

The cottage was very spacious, having three bathrooms was a definite bonus, and for the children it was fabulous to have free WiFi. Having 4 televisions was another bonus, no arguments! The garden was beautiful, the wildlife brilliant and the location excellent for exploring Snowdonia. The view over the mountains was lovely to wake up to. Would love to come back!

We have never stayed in such a wonderful cottage. The cottage was so spacious. Televisions in every room. The garden was beautiful. Also there was a summer house that we could use; which we did one evening for a couple of hours. I have never seen so much kitchen equipment. Towels were provided which was great for us, as we were 4 adults in one car. We will be booking this cottage again next year. Our German friends were very impressed with this cottage and Wales.
Mrs Hees

October 2012
The whole holiday was enjoyed by all. Tre Coed was stunning and the gardens were truly wonderful, as my 13 year old granddaughter said it was magical. Many thanks to the owner for allowing us to share her beautiful hideaway in Wales.
September 2013
The house and garden and generally very good - however, on arrival one of the TV's wasn't working (no sound) and the owner wasn't able to fix it. I had to change my sheets because there was a greasy mark and a long hair in the bed. When I mentioned this to the owner she was very defensive. Also, my bedside table was dusty, marked and also had a hair. When I mentioned this the owner said she had spent hours cleaning the house, implying that I had been mistaken. I pointed out that I would not be changing and washing my sheets at 20.00 if I had thought they were clean. All in all, a very poor handling of my complaint. Having to share the laundry room with the owner was not mentioned in the rental information and is a bug bear for me when renting a holiday property. No mobile phone signal and no landline were also not mentioned. I won't be returning, and after the way my concerns were treated, I won't be recommending either.
Mr Wilkinson
May 2013
The garden and wildlife were much appreciated by all. The accommodation having two lounges was more than expected and most comfortable. The facilities on the ground floor were excellent for a disabled member of our group.
January 2013
The cottage was very comfortable and inviting. You can tell the owner has paid attention to detail.
July 2013
Lovely house , Great garden for bird watching . Nice to have three bathrooms. Two lounges were comfortable . Only downside if any was that T.Vs were a bit complicated to operate ,but got it in the end.Would certainly go again in the future.
October 2013
This spacious home was a perfect base for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. The second lounge was a real bonus and having 3 bathrooms was lovely. Free WiFi was much appreciated by the teens in the family. The garden was a real treasure and our youngest enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels. No arguments about what to watch on the telly as each room had its own! Lovely area with lots to do for all. Top tip for any adrenaline junkies: canyoning with Snowdonia Outdoor adventures and Zipworld. Google it, it will make your holiday!
September 2013
A very special pretty property with beautiful gardens, really welcoming owner nothing too much trouble. Two pubs in the village doing good food. You have Snowdonia and the coast on your doorstep, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely be returning.
