Take a walk into Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, where you can take in the breath-taking views across the Atlantic or visit Trebarwith Strand beach. Also within easy reach is the coastal village of Boscastle. Further down the coast you will find Polzeath, with its sandy surfing beach, and Padstow with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. From here you can hire a bike and cycle or walk the Camel Trail which follows the Camel Estuary to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. Also close by is the famous Eden Project and Bodmin Moor, which is unspoilt moorland at its best. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
