Although the cottage was remote, it was lovely and peaceful and just what we needed. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

White Walls was an absolute delight to stay in. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and the bedrooms were a decent size. There are no main roads for miles so in the morning sitting in the garden all you could hear were the sheep, birds and the gentle trickle of the stream that runs along side the house; pure bliss. We will definitely be booking to go again.

A lovely remote cottage which encourages relaxation with a gorgeous hot tub, games room and gym to boot. Surrounded by fields you really get a sense of privacy with a large enclosed garden perfect for dogs. We received a warm welcome from the owner and are already looking at a return visit in the future.

Absolutely fantastic. The pictures in the brochure do not do the property justice. The owners were very nice and extremely helpful.

The property is reasonably remote but still close enough to a shop if required. We felt we were completely secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was 'fully stocked' with everything we might have required including fire wood for the wonderful wood burner, the lovely 40 degree hot tub, a gym, games and toys for the little ones, washing machine and tumble drier, DVDs and playstation for those nights in. The value for money was incredible. The owners were very friendly and accommodating too, including giving us a tow up an ice and snow covered road on the way there. We will definitely be back. One word: Fantastic!

Absolutely everything was great, the cottage is first class. The farm is fantastic and fascinating. Very remote, which adds to its charm. The long weekend we booked was not long enough, we will definitely be back again.

Visited this cottage for our honeymoon. Lovely secluded spot, quiet with great views and countryside around. Great place for lazy days.

The peace and quiet of the location. Has a lot of facilities to keep families/couples occupied with out having to go anywhere. Unfortunately we only had one clear night whilst there when I could make out star clusters with the naked eye but being in a enclosed valley I would think it has pretty well zero light pollution, good for star gazing and astronomy.

The cottage was above our expectations, it was our first holiday away with the dogs as well as 2 infants very enjoyable and relaxing. With a lovely warm welcome.

We liked the calm, relaxing way of life in the remote location. We liked the fact that the owner took time to visit on the arrival day and make sure all was well. The cottage is well maintained, and in a beautiful, remote location, ideal for relaxing.

Booked a week away hoping for peace and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. Beautiful cottage, very homely, gorgeous views. Excellent price for such a wonderful week away. Don't get phone signal and no wifi but it's perfect, the pictures need updating cause they don't do the place justice. Can't wait to book it again next year.

This is the second time we have visited White walls and not disappointed at all. White Walls is situated close to Llanbister and is very rural and away from it all. No Wi-Fi which is great and no phone signal either so perfect for a tech free retreat, you actually speak to each other, read and play board games. Plenty to do both at the cottage and locally. Cottage has everything and it's clean, warm and comfortable. Only criticism would be lack of clear instructions for the hot tub. Once sorted that out the hot tub is perfect for a relaxing break away. Will definitely be back.
November 2016
My family & I visited White Walls for a 5 night break, it was something that we were all looking forward to, and it did not disappoint! We were 3 couples & 4 small dogs between us. The barn itself was immaculate, and furnished nicely! We all loved the woodburner in the living room, very cosy! The kitchen had everything you could think of, and added bonus of a dishwasher too! As for the amenities, the hot tub & ping pong table were well used during our stay and all the board games aswell! The barn is surrounded by fields with sheep, and it was lovely hearing owls in the trees at night time! There is absolutely no phone signal at the barn, but once we walked back up the road a bit then our phones did pick up an intermittent signal, but we all found it quite nice actually to not be on our phones all the time and spend time together. We would definitely recommend white walls to anyone looking for peace & quiet and a relaxing break away! The Phillips family x

This place is completely cut off from Daily life. There are lovely walks around the cottage and lovely scenes with rolling hills. There is no communication even mobiles don't work here and certainly no wifi which isn't a bad thing in this day and age The cottage was clean and well presented with a Hot tub and small make shift gym. The cottages faciliti s were good and organised DVD, X box, TV and Sateilltte TV free view The only issue we had was flies, tens of them every time we opened a window. The owners didn't come down to see us during our stay as promised but we didn't actually need them too.
March 2013
A beautiful place to stay. Comfortable, well equipped and so peaceful too. Ideal base for walking in the cambrians. Lots of red kites too. Highly recommended.
June 2013
Excellent quality , wonderful experience. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub and visit to the farm.
June 2013
The cottage was superb, area divine and the peaceful location was just what we needed. Believe it or not the late snow added a certain charm and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the long snowey walks.
December 2013
Brilliant, so good that have already booked to go back next March. Best cottage we have stayed in.

Beautiful.. The farm itself is superb, the hosts were so, so nice and helpful. Nothing was a trouble to them. We toured the farm with the farmer, with a mass of helpful information and a once in a lifetime chance to watch lambs being born. The house is first class, all the mod cons, everything you could need and more. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very well maintained. BUT.... It still manages to be a quiet spot in a perfect location, away from it all, but still within a couple of miles of civilisation.
