The spacious living room is perfect for a large group with plenty of seating, a large television and 2 sets of bi-folding doors leading out onto the front terrace, with the views sweeping down the valley. The dining room is spacious with solid wood flooring and the superb kitchen has units with a gloss finish and granite worktops, offering a sleek clean décor.
The friendly owners live in the house alongside and are delighted to welcome families to enjoy their ‘little piece of Devon’. It is ideally set on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, just 6 miles from the vibrant and historic city of Exeter. It benefits from being just 1 mile from the quaint little village of Doddiscombsleigh, which has a village shop and local pub. The Teign Valley stretches down to the seaside town of Teignmouth, offering a large estuary for watersports, fishing, day trips and other pursuits. The valley has lots of hidden walks and fairly quiet roads, stretching off into the distance is the rugged land of Dartmoor, a classic area for mountain biking, walking, horse riding and canoeing. Out towards, Exeter is Haldon Forest offering lots of walks, mountain bike trails of all grades and Segway adventures. Beach 14 miles. Shop 3¼ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
