Windlands is a lovely cottage on the outskirts of Buxton. With one king-size double bedroom, it sleeps two people comfortably. There is also a bathroom, kitchen and sitting room with dining area. Outside, there is a front garden with patio and furniture, and off road parking for one car. Windlands is a great base for a romantic escape. This property does no accept pets, nor does it allow smoking inside.

Buxton is a wonderful little town, boasting its thermal springs, Opera House and Pavillion Gardens.

Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, WiFi, TV with Freeview, DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Front garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk.

Very good accommodation, a very short walk into the town centre, it was lovely not to have to take the car every time we went out. Had excellent transport from Buxton to Manchester etc. There were plenty of restaurants and some lovely old buildings, lots of wonderful walks and interesting places to visit nearby.

This property was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners made a real effort to make us feel welcome (e.g. nice welcome bundle) and the location is great for an easy 5-10 minute walk into Buxton. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent position for visiting the delights of Buxton. A very good property which was well furnished, clean and very cosy for couples. Plenty of pubs and restaurants near by if you wanted to eat out too. Also off road parking for one car.

The owners have made Windlands a great holiday cottage. The off-road parking was very helpful, and Buxton is a great centre for the Peak District, all attractions and the diversity of scenery are just a short drive away.

Convenient location, being within walking distance of Buxton town centre was a real bonus. The property was snug for two people and had the benefit of gas central heating which was welcome. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. It was a relaxing break.

The cottage is lovely and fantastic value for money. It is in a great location only 5 minutes walk from the pubs, restaurants and shops in Buxton town centre, but far enough out from the centre to be nice and quiet! The kitchen is well fitted out with ample crockery, pans, etc. Offroad parking and excellent wi-fi are the icing on the cake.
