We were amazed at the quality of the furnishings; everything looked like new and it was very well equipped with washer/dryer full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher. All the bedding was like new, plenty of towels/tea cloths etc. The location was good and the park was very quiet and peaceful. We would recommend any one wanting to visit this area to choose this holiday home.

I stayed here with my parents and puppy for a week. The lodge was lovely, very clean, well presented and comfortable. There was everything you would need for a relaxing week away. The only problem I had was in the listing is advertised as enclosed lawned garden which for our puppy was the main reason for booking but unfortunately when we got there there was no enclosed garden. This made things a bit tricky as we had to take her on her lead every few hours off the site to go to the loo as we weren't allowed to walk her on site.. Being an outside dog she was not very keen on being in the lodge for long periods of time, it was also very hot which made it uncomfortable having to keep the doors closed. It is a very lovely lodge, well looked after. I have only written this review for people in my situation that need an enclosed garden as i had to come home early with the puppy for this reason.

Lovely lodge. Well equipped and in a perfect location. Nice quiet site. Clearwell Caves, Secret Forest and Puzzlewood are all within a few minutes walking distance. Simmonds Yat and forest trails in the Forest of Dean are just a few minutes car drive away.
