We enjoyed a relaxed holiday with friends and family at Wroxton House and would certainly return. The owners, when we met them at the outset, were welcoming and helpful.

We particularly liked the friendly welcome to the house by the owner. Wroxton House was first class, clean, well furnished set in the 1950s and just nice. We loved piano for playing, good size garden for use and eating out side. Comfortable and clean beds. We had a very relaxing holiday. Parked two cars easily.

Wroxton House made us feel we were guests of a family, not just tenants. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the 30s feel. There was plenty of space for 2 couples the location was convenient for what we wanted to do - including the bus service.

Wroxton is a very quirky 1930's house, but with all of the modern amenities, very comfortable and every need catered for. We loved looking around the house and discovering new things all of the time, especially the old photos, which gave the atmosphere a much more homely feel. It was also within walking distance of the local bus stop into Oxford, which was very handy, and a short walk to the Thames Tow path into Oxford, which was lovely to walk along admiring the boats and the swans etc. Overall, a very spacious, comfortable house, we would definitely book this property again.

Very friendly owners greeted us. Very large open rooms with a lovely garden and fascinating nooks and crannies. Very interesting history with period thirties feel. Lots of original features and a rare find so close to the Plain, Colleges and Oxford Centre. Convenient walk to local shops lovely Nepalese pub/restaurant and short bus or taxi to centre.

I am glad that it is now with a new agent. When we stayed there it was unfortunate that the heating was not working properly but that is beside the point. it is an interesting property set between the wars in a good location with a convenience store close by as well as a bus stop for getting into the city. the TV ( an older model) was in the dining room so any thoughts of cuddling up with your partner to watch a film went out of the window as all the chairs were single and mainly upright. In the kitchen the waste bin was an old sort of plastic bucket with a broken lid. the dish wash cloth and sponges had been previously used. but there was a dishwasher. The fridge could not accommodate all that the 2 of us wanted to put in it as it was so small. The microwave worked although rather small and an older model. This house could have been so much better.
